Event: The UCMVA 5th Annual Unity Awards

Description: The United Catholic Music and Video Association Unity Awards, is the UCMVA's premier event of the year and consists of a day full of educational seminars for its members, music professionals and those who aspire to a career in the Christian music and video industry. The day culminates with the Unity Awards presentation co-hosted by Pollyanna and Father Miguel, for the purpose of honoring the achievements and excellence in various categories of music and video. It is the hope of the UCMVA that individual members from around the world will not only receive many benefits from the knowledge of the association, but will forge together in unity and spread the word of God through its music and video presentations.

DLF Event: For The Love of Children 3 : A Tribute to Heroes
Location: The Queen Mary, Long Beach, California

Description: "For The Love of Children 3 : A Tribute to Heroes" is an international concert honoring remarkable heroes from the September 11, 2001 tragedy and the 2004 911 national youth heroes. Proceeds will benefit two outstanding non-profit organizations: The "Dorough Lupus Foundation" and "911 for Kids". The 2004 concert will be hosted by Howie D and the Backstreet Boys with a myriad of friends from the entertainment and sports worlds. Jessica Simpson, Pollyanna Dorough, Blue County, Kathy Ireland, Tim Brown and many other friends will join the boys for this history making concert.

Howie will also be hosting and providing a special performance of "Fly to Heaven" with Pollyanna at the Governor's Ball.

Event: Christian Artists Seminar
Location: SBI-Conference-centre in Doorn, Netherlands

Description: Pollyanna will be teaching four 1 hour seminars from August 22-25, 2004. The seminar topic will be "How to survive in the Music Industry." Pollyanna will also be performing a short concert showcasing new songs from her upcoming debut album entitled "Wings of Hope".

L.262 - How to survive in the Music Industry

1) Criteria: For all those who have a great interest in this theme.

2) Content:The module will cover the following areas: voice lessons (taking and teaching), CD Demos, Press Kits,Website, putting a team together (manager, attorney, intern, ..), showcasing, net working, getting your legal papers in order, know your options (internet or major record label), seeing and understanding the big picture, etc.

3) What you will have learned: Participants will have a chance, through a personal experience, to gain a deeper view of the above mentioned areas.

4) Measuring: By personal evaluation.

5) Duration: 4 days, each day 1 hour

6) Materials:There are no special materials needed for the course.

Lupus Cruise 2004
Lupus Cruise 2004 set sail March 27, 2004 from Port Canaveral, Florida on the brand new "Carnival Glory," inaugurated on April 12, 2003, for seven fun-filled days and seven amazing nights. Howie D., fans and the rest of the Dorough family visited the Western Caribbean, including Belize, Cozumel and Progresso.
